Developed by the team behind Made Open, the platform helps create real-world connections and empowers people to make a positive impact, even in a busy schedule.
STRIDE has been a key partner in Time4Good’s journey, providing essential support from its early stages.
The collaboration started with a comprehensive strategic review, where STRIDE helped the Time4Good team refine their Business Model Canvas (BMC), Minimum Viable Product (MVP), value proposition, customer journey and revenue strategy. This groundwork was crucial in guiding Time4Good’s strategic direction and ensuring its potential for growth.
STRIDE Support
STRIDE also played a major role in helping Time4Good understand its users. They assisted in designing and analysing surveys to ensure that the platform’s features and messaging resonated with its target audience.
STRIDE provided legal support, including guidance on intellectual property and trademarking, and connected Time4Good with a solicitor for further advice.
A focus group with students from the University of Plymouth, facilitated by STRIDE, provided valuable feedback to validate the platform’s concept and refine its functionality.
In addition to this foundational work, STRIDE helped raise Time4Good’s visibility. They connected the internship team with the University of Plymouth, who organised a social media marketing internship, improving Time4Good’s online presence.
They also provided market modelling support, helping Time4Good identify and target its initial user base, including key partners like Citizens Advice Plymouth and Healthwatch Devon, while laying the groundwork for broader community engagement.
Through STRIDE, Time4Good also benefited from the University of Plymouth’s Micro Internship Programme, adding extra capacity during critical stages of development.
Time4Good is designed to make volunteering easy and accessible for everyone, offering users the chance to give and receive help in small, manageable ways. Whether logging hours, receiving thank yous or unlocking rewards, users like Harshita – one of 780 million potential micro-volunteers globally – can seamlessly integrate micro-volunteering into their daily lives.
The platform also helps organisations like charities and community groups recruit, retain and reward their micro-volunteers, offering a scalable solution that addresses the evolving needs of both volunteers and organisations.
Looking Ahead
Time4Good will remain free to users, but the team plans to introduce a subscription model for charities and micro-volunteers, offering premium features similar to Duolingo.
The continued partnership with STRIDE includes future support in AI consultancy, aimed at enhancing trust and reliability through a systematic trust monitoring process.
Time4Good’s mission is simple: to make it easy for anyone, no matter how busy, to make a difference in their community. Thanks to STRIDE’s guidance, Time4Good is well on its way to transforming the micro volunteering landscape, empowering people to contribute to their communities, one small act at a time.
